Advantage Computer's Policies concerning Returns, Shipping and Warranty.

15 Day Money Back Refund or Exchange (From date of invoice)
Returns valid only if the following conditions apply:

• There is a 20% Restocking fee on all items returned (No exceptions).
• No returns, exchanges or refunds after 15 Days (No exceptions).
• Must have all documentation and accessories and in a clean, re-sellable condition (including box/packaging)
• Must have absolutely no physical damage.
• Sealed items must be unopened and with all documentation and accessories and in a re-sellable condition.
• All products returned for a refund will be credited at the price that is posted on the day of the return if it is lower than the purchase price.
• If shipping product back to us, we strongly recommend the using a carrier that tracks packages. You also assume responsibility for insuring the returned item.  
• Special Order items are not returnable.
• Software, books and blank media (tapes, CD-R's, CD-RW's, diskettes, etc) are not returnable or have any warranty.
• Labour fees, installation fees, deposits, consulting fees and diagnostic fees are not returnable, exchangeable or refundable under any circumstances.  
• For refunds over $50, the refund will be disposed by cheque if originally paid in cash or in store credit.
• DOA items or defective items are subject to testing by us or manufacture before processing returns.
• If item is shipped and close to the 15 Day limit the customer must contact Advantage Computers either by Telephone (416-201-9544), Fax (416-201-9544) or email ( sales@canadianpc.com  or sales@advantage-computers.com ) and notify sales person.
• All sales outside of Canada are final.  For warranty services you must contact the manufacturer in your country.
  

Shipping Policy

• Shipping charges are non-refundable without exception under any circumstance.  
• Shipping insurance and Tracking is optional and extra.  If you'd like Insurance or Tracking please ask for it at time of purchase.
• If no Insurance or Tracking is asked for then the buyer assumes all risk and liabilities against lost or damaged parcels shipped.
• All items are shipped out via Regular Canada Post unless otherwise specified by customer at time of purchase.
• If insurance is purchased on shipped items the customer must deal with courier themselves.

Warranty

• Manufacturers warranty services through Advantage Computers are for Canadian Customers only.  Please contact the manufacturer directly if you live outside Canada.
• All items being returned after 15 days for DOA or defective are subject to testing/service by us or the manufacturer.
• If the item is tested to be defective and still in warranty then it will be sent to the manufacturer for RMA processing.
• If the manufacturer finds cause to void the warranty for any reason the customer will then deal with the manufacturer directly. 
• Warranties will be voided if there is any physical damage to the product or if it has been misused (i.e. Overclocking) or installed incorrectly.  
• All products come with a ONE year Manufacturers Warranty (except OEM CPU's which are 30Days and Used items which are also 30days)
• All products must be returned to the store at least 1 week prior to the anniversary date.
• Warranty coverage varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.  It is up to the customer to find out exactly what is and isn't covered.
• Advantage Computer only covers manufacturer defects and not compatibility issues with other hardware or software.
• Straight exchange for warranted items can only be done within 30 days of purchase providing the product is currently in stock.  After this period, the product will be sent to the manufacturer or vendor for replacement or repair.   
• Some items (for example... Retail Box Intel CPU's, Asus Mother Boards, Maxtor Hard Drives) have a warranty period longer than one year.  Check manufacturer for details.
• There are no loaners given for any defective warranted items under any circumstances.
• There is no warranty given on any software whatsoever.  Software is sold as is.  Any issues with software is to be discussed with the manufacturer or vendor only.
• No warranty is given to your data.  It is the responsibility of the user to insure data integrity.  It is the users responsibility to implement a a proper data back-up system.  Under no circumstances is Advantage Computers responsible for data loss.  Back-up Back-up Back-up and often.  
• The $1 clearout items are sold 100% as is with no Warranty.  No refund or exchange.

Misc. Info

• Items sold via eBay are under the terms and conditions of the individual auction. 
• At Advantage Computers we try our best to make your purchase as stress free as possible.  How ever the above rules are without exception.  If you do not agree with the above conditions, please return your un-opened products within 1 business day for a full 100% refund.
• Proper maintenance of a computer is crucial.  Many problems have a simple solution and can be avoided with proper care.  
• With very few exceptions we do not give support over the phone.  You should bring in your product with all documents and software to us and we will be more than happy to help.
• The most important part of your computer is your data.  Parts can be replaced but your data cannot.  Under no circumstance will Advantage Computers compensate you for loss of data in any way.  It is the responsibility of the user to back-up crucial data.  There are many ways to achieve this and some are free.  Contact us for details.
• Beware of viruses and other programs that may effect to proper running of your system.   These events are not covered under warranty.
• Keep an eye out for newer versions of software, drivers and patches and update them accordingly.
